Senior Transfer Pricing Manager - AMS (San Jose)

Responsibilitie

About the Team The Global Tax department is seeking a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to be based in the San Jose office who will become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be leading transfer pricing and tax matters in Americas with a special focus on LATAM, including but not limited to transfer pricing planning, policy setting, OTP, compliance, controversy and providing expert transfer pricing support and solutions as and when requested by the business. This role will face some of the most dynamic challenges in transfer pricing and will have plenty of learning and growth opportunities. Responsibilities - Building business partnerships by liaising and collaborating closely with finance teams to provide ad-hoc advice and solutions. - Lead in undertaking internal transfer pricing risk assessment, implementation of transfer pricing processes, controls and monitoring periodically. - Lead functional and financial analyses to reaffirm the existing transfer pricing policies. - Implement, monitor, and maintain operational transfer pricing processes, provide improvement suggestions and conduct periodic transfer pricing calculations. - Collaborate with external consultants to lead the preparation, review, and update of contemporaneous transfer pricing documentations and other TP compliance documents. - Respond to internal and external transfer pricing inquiries, and assist business partners with transfer pricing issues in a timely manner. - Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted transfer pricing legislation, regulations and judicial decisions that impact the company operations and financial positions.

Qualification

Minimum Qualifications - A minimum of 5 years of transfer pricing experience (including at least 2 years of experience as a senior manager or equivalent) in a multinational or global company, a top accounting firm, or/and other professional firm. - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or equivalent related field. - Experiences in all transfer pricing planning, compliance and controversy matters. - Strong data analysis skills and strong time management skills. - Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. - High oral, written and listening comprehension proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese for effective written and oral communication with global partners across the Brazil and Mexico markets. Preferred Qualifications - Highly motivated with a solid understanding of transfer pricing principles and interpretation.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $159000 - $288000 annually.


Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
