Position Description The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer engineering, and artificial intelligence (AI). The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity principles, computer engineering, and emerging AI technologies, with a commitment to high-quality instruction, student engagement, and experiential learning. Job Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, and related areas. Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards and technological advancements. Deliver engaging lectures, laboratory instruction, and hands-on learning experiences. Assess student learning through assignments, projects, examinations, and presentations. Provide timely feedback and maintain regular communication with students. Maintain accurate course records and submit grades according to university deadlines. Collaborate with full-time faculty on curriculum development and continuous program improvement. Support ABET accreditation efforts by documenting student learning outcomes and assessment activities, if requested. Encourage ethical practices, innovation, and professional development among students. Maintain office hours and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner. Requirements Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity and computer engineering. Working knowledge of artificial intelligence tools and applications, including generative AI technologies. Ability to teach effectively in face-to-face, hybrid, and online learning environments. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Manhattan University is an E-Verify employer.
