• Evaluate results critically, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and sample preparation as required.
• Ensure accurate documentation of processes, mentor new staff or students, and maintain compliance with lab quality guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree and preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification during your employment period.
