Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves working in a Basic Med Surg Unit, providing both routine and complex care with a focus on long-term patient outcomes. This opportunity is ideal for nurses able to practice independently and willing to float as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor side effects and effectiveness
• Document patients' history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification via AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
