As a Security Officer Part Time Screening in Willington, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine site activities, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative team culture built on care, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control duties, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Monitor entry points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas, docks, trailers, and perimeter points as directed by site-specific policies and location needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
