Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Skills Required:

• 8-10 years of experience
• Strong backend skills
• Proven track record with Java & spring boot framework to create microservices
• This is a multi-lang environment - experience with Go/Python building backend server systems very desirable
• This is a high scale environment technologically. Prior experience in serious E-Commerce, high scale cloud environments strongly preferred (e.g., IoT, E-Commerce systems, platform experience as opposed to general IT applications)
• Standard backend delivery experience (CI/CD, databases, test automation etc.)
• Familiarity with messaging (Kafka, high scale and big data technologies (e.g., Hive/Spark strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with Agile techniques
• Masters with CS/Eng. from a top-tier US university
• 8-10 years of real commercial experience with strong Eng. background in the US
• The person needs to have designed, developed and owned areas of significant technical complexity
