Industrial Maintenance MechanicProminent Food Production client in Hanford/Lemoore area is seeking qualified Industrial Maintenance Mechanics.Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities:Perform a normal range of mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair operations throughout the plant and office areasPLC's; Preventative MaintenanceWork with higher classified maintenance personnel in the performance of more complex assignments related to new construction, installation or repairs. Must provide own toolsWork from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, machine tool maintenance manuals, work order requests and oral instructions, to install, adjust, repair and perform general maintenance dutiesDismantle the less complicated units, repair and/or replace defective parts or mechanisms, reassemble and prove outMaintain, adjust or repair bridge cranes, shot blasting unit, paint spray units, air compressor and controls, various machine tools, electric motors, air and hydraulic connectors, overhead doors and various other plant related machinery and equipmentMajor electrical repairs are preformed by outside vendor or higher classified maintenance personnelLevel, align and secure machines, equipment and auxiliariesInstall various attachments such as pumps, ducts, motors, tanks, guards, brackets and other plant related accessoriesCut, bend and thread conduit, pipe and tubing. Hang conduit, string up wires and cablesPerform ordinary plumbing and pipe fitting, with some limitation to maintain air, water and oil linesPerform ordinary carpentry and masonry operations as requiredPerform ordinary welding and brazing as related to maintenance requirementsSet up and operate drill press and use off-hand stand grinder for repairs or fabrications of replacement partsPeriodically inspect condition of plan operating machines and equipment for preventative maintenance purposesDetect faulty operation, diagnose malfunctions and provide remedy or report to proper SupervisorMaintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs and material usageMaintain equipment and working area in neat and orderly conditionObserve all safety and ISO 9001/14001 requirementsPerform other duties as assignedBudgeted Input, Output and PBIT objectivesAdherence to and achievement of department and company budgetsTeamwork and cooperation with the company management teamEducation:Two years Technical or Trade School education in metalworking, machine, tool, maintenance and electronics is preferred.Experience:4 years minimum experience as Maintenance Technician or MechanicIn-depth knowledge of both electrical and mechanical aspects of machine tool maintenance.A strong knowledge of Industrial Plant Maintenance is required.Must be able to diagnose machine/equipment failure, and have the ability to repair the damage or have a source who can do so.FULL TIMECompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $35.00 Per Hour
