Job Opening At Cape Island Foods
Cape Island Foods has openings in our food manufacturing facility producing/packaging peanut butter and related items.
Responsibilities:
- Have reliable transportation and be available to work a flexible schedule, primarily Mon-Fri, hours may vary.
- Must work well in a team orientated atmosphere.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time.
- Operate food processing equipment and machinery to blend or process ingredients.
- Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for compliance with quality standards, identifying and removing defective items.
- Package, label, and seal food products in accordance with company specifications.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and containers to maintain a safe and clean production environment.
- Record production and test data for ingredients, product batches, and production times, ensuring traceability.
- Coordinate with other team members to manage the efficient flow of materials and products through the production line.
- Perform minor maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure continuous operation of the production line.
