Shipping Coordinator

Georgia-Pacific is looking for safety‑oriented individuals to join our team as a Shipping Coordinator in Denton, TX. Salary Starting pay is $26.00 and up depending on experience. Shift differential is $0.75 for 2nd Shift. Compensation can increase based on performance and skill. Eligible for up to a 6 % quarterly bonus through our Performance Pay program. Shift Currently hiring for 2nd Shift. May include overtime, holidays, and weekends. What You Will Do Coordinate the flow of shipping and receiving operations. Plan and direct all daily shipping while ensuring accuracy of shipping documents. Accurately process shipping paperwork. Dispatch work to forklift drivers on the warehouse floor. Manage the workload of incoming and outgoing freight. Perform daily proof of billing. Assist loaders with inquiries. Apply problem solving, decision‑making, and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety practices. Perform weekly and monthly cycle counts to verify inventory levels. Qualifications Experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations. Previous forklift experience or willingness to learn to drive a forklift. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience performing and managing accurate inventory records. Physical Requirements Adhere to safety rules and wear required safety equipment. Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, or pulling for up to 12 hours a day in a loud, industrial environment.
