About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Main OR Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 3+ years of Cardiovascular experience Description: Travel RN position in the Main Operating Room. Registered Nurse required in the operating room specialty. The position requires experience in cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures. Advanced skills in orthopedic, neuro, and DaVinci robot experience are preferred. Procedures performed in the unit include CABG, valve replacement, minimally invasive valve replacement, dissections, thoracic procedures, and vascular procedures. Unit staffing includes a ratio of four RNs per operating room suite. Two circulators, one scrub RN, and one RNFA are present in each OR suite. Hourly updates to family members are expected for patient experience. The unit operates 24/7 without floating policies. Documentation system used in the unit is MediTech. Dress code consists of hospital-provided scrubs. The facility is a top-performing quality hospital with a focus on exceptional care.
