Position: Behavior Technician (School-Based)
Pay: $30/hr Location: Bothell, Washington Hours: 32.5 hours/week Contract Length: 4 weeks (with potential for extension) Start Date: May 26, 2026 Setting: School environment (K-12)
About the Role
The Behavior Technician supports students with special needs by implementing educational and behavioral interventions in collaboration with teachers, school staff, and behavioral specialists. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children and young adults succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
Support students in classroom, small-group, or 1:1 settings
Collect data and document student progress
Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and district behavioral teams
Maintain a safe, supportive learning environment
Follow district guidelines and professional standards
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
CPR certification (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
Meets all federal, state, and local compliance requirements
Two years of pediatric experience preferred (not required)
