Staff Accountant

Prepare/assist with account reconciliations and adjusting/manual journal entries Enters relevant financial data and verifies accuracy Provide data and analysis to senior management and other departments Prepare/report sales tax, withholding, and other financial filings with federal or state government entities Provide assistance as requested to Accounting Management EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS Must be able to follow prescribed office policies and procedures and obey all safety rules. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information. Report to work in a neat and well-groomed appearance to ensure a good corporate image and represent the Company in a professional manner at all times. EDUCATION Bachelor of Science in Accounting preferred EXPERIENCE 2-5 years of corporate accounting experience preferred EQUIPMENT USED Laptop computer, printer/copier, ON-JOB TRAINING Up to 3 months WORKING CONDITIONS Work in office environment LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS None JOB DEMANDS Strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to work with limited supervision, ability to sit for long periods ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all assigned duties
