The Child Care Teacher will nurture infants, toddlers, and preschool children through play-based learning in a safe, supportive classroom environment. Reporting to the assistant director and center director, this role will foster child development, maintain open family communication, and document each child’s progress.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support infants, toddlers, and preschool children.
• Plan and deliver play-based learning activities.
• Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Monitor child safety and follow established safety practices.
• Provide families with daily updates and participate in scheduled conferences.
• Observe children and maintain accurate progress documentation.
• Follow sanitation and classroom cleanliness procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in early childhood education.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and child development.
• Skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and behavior guidance.
• Understanding of child safety, parent communication, observation, and documentation.
• Patience and teamwork.
