About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Mother Baby Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: 2+ years recent Mother Baby experience License: Maryland Certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: Must be comfortable with a 1:8 patient ratio Previous travel experience Willing to obtain NIHSS and NRP within 48 hours of offer COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted Description: Participates in clinical monitoring at the unit level. Participates in established patient, family, staff, and/or student education programs. Develops, documents, and implements Patient Teaching and Discharge Planning Record. Identifies unit, staff, and patient care problems. Takes action or refers problems to appropriate resources when indicated. May participate in activities of the RN 3, except serving as a facilitator for the Nurse Residency Program. If competent, serves as a charge RN and monitors productivity and patient flow. If competent, precepts new staff.
