We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. You will prepare tax returns across a variety of entity types, support senior staff and partners on client engagements, develop your technical tax skills, and build the foundation for a long-term career in public accounting.

Job Details

What You Will Do:

• Follow the company's established accounting procedures.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end closing journal entries.
• Maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statement package.
• Provide analysis of expense accounts.
• Assist in annual budget preparation.
• Post monthly budget reports for department managers after evaluating financial performance by comparing

actual results vs budget/forecast.

• Maintain fixed asset system, which includes reconciliation of general ledger to fixed asset system, preparation of

depreciation schedules, and monthly recording of depreciation.

• Research and answer basic accounting inquiries.
• Provide support for accounts payable & accounts receivable activities, as needed.
• Prepare daily cash report when needed.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
• One to three years of accounting (recent graduates with strong internship experience in public accounting will be considered)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a desire to learn

Bonus Points:

• Experience in a public accounting or CPA firm environment
• QuickBooks experience
• CCH Axcess experience
• CPA candidate status
