Inventory Control Specialist

Inventory Control SpecialistWe are actively recruiting for an Inventory Control Specialist at a biomedical company in Ayer. This position is responsible for the receipt, movement, storage and dispositioning of company inventoried materials, equipment and non-stock supplies, performing and maintaining cycle counting activities, and supporting manufacturing and research and development departments with inventory and warehousing requirements.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure inventory is available and ready for useExecutes and maintains cycle counting activities and ensures inventory accuracyProcess and fulfill internal material requestsCoordinate disposal, return, and reallocation of obsolete items in the inventory.File claims with manufacturers when defective goods are found in inventoryMaintain replenishment of all consumable production, warehouse, facilities, and office supplies.Operates material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, etc.)Issue, transact and other documentation into ERP systemRequirements:HS Diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 2+ years of experience in inventory management, cycle counting, and other comparable supply chain rolesAt least 2+ years of Forklift Operation experience requiredAble to lift up to 50lbsPrevious experience with ERP, WMS, computers and MS Office requiredThe hours for this position are Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM. The pay is $23-$25/hr depending on experience.
