Dietary Aide

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate team member to support daily food service operations in a healthcare or senior care setting. This role helps ensure residents and patients receive nutritious meals, attentive service, and a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and plating according to dietary guidelines and facility procedures.
• Serve meals and beverages in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
• Follow individual diet orders, texture modifications, and special meal instructions as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, dining, and food service areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and equipment according to established standards.
• Restock supplies and support inventory organization as needed.
• Communicate any concerns related to meal preferences, diet changes, or food service needs to appropriate team members.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food items to help ensure freshness and proper stock management.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures.
• Provide respectful and responsive service to residents, patients, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, hospitality, or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weight throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
