Senior Litigation Paralegal

We're growing, and we need a paralegal who makes that possible. This is not an entry-level "keep busy" role. You will own the docket, the filings, and the system that keeps the attorneys ahead of the court instead of racing it. What You'll Own The case calendar — every discovery deadline, hearing setting, and docket control order date, tracked and flagged well before it's urgent E-filing and service across multiple active matters in Harris County Probate Courts and Fort Bend Courts at Law Discovery logs, exhibit indices, and matter checklists that stay current without being chased Turning attorney direction into finished, filed work product — fast, accurate, and without re‑explanation What We're Looking For Texas litigation paralegal experience (probate, guardianship, or fiduciary litigation strongly preferred) Working knowledge of TRCP discovery mechanics, eFileTexas, and docket control orders Someone who is energized by systems and detail — not someone who tolerates them The confidence to tell an attorney "that timeline creates risk" before it becomes a missed deadline, not after Clio and Box experience a plus; fast learners with strong platform instincts welcome Small firm, real responsibility — you'll be the backbone of active litigation, not a cog in a document mill Direct access to and mentorship from experienced trial and probate litigators A firm that runs on structure and follow-through — if that's how your brain works, you'll thrive here Compensation: Commensurate with experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Romano & Sumner, PLLC
