As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Emergency Response in Allentown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist employees, visitors, and guests with exceptional customer service. You will communicate observations, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

One of the key qualifications we are looking for is a valid CPR Certification (B205). Your expertise in this area is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and team members.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Maintain awareness of changing conditions at the location, communicate professionally with personnel and first responders, and follow established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
