Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a culture of positivity and motivation within the club for the benefit of the Team Members and club members.
- Create and maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for all Team Members, members, prospective members, and guests, and ensure Team Members follow superior customer service guidelines. Provide +1 service.
- Keep clubs spotlessly clean.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing teams.
- Complete all payroll functions promptly; this includes but is not limited to running reports, submitting payroll, and approval of timecards.
- Adhere to policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Experience working as an Assistant Manager at Planet Fitness preferred
- Exceptional leadership, diplomacy, and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
- Hard-working, enthusiastic, and energetic.
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Must be CPR/AED certified.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be punctual
- Must have the ability to be constantly on call on an immediate, as-needed basis
