Job Description: Physician Assistant – Interventional Radiology

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Advanced Interventional & Vascular Services (AIVS) team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in a specialized field. No prior experience in interventional radiology is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to help you succeed.

This is a hospital-based position with rotation among multiple locations in Northern New Jersey , including Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, Bayonne Medical Center in Bayonne, and Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken .

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Possibility of on-call (telephone)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Interventional Radiology team in performing minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance (e.g., fluoroscopy, CT, or ultrasound).
• Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing physical exams.
• Educate patients and families about upcoming procedures, post-procedure care, and follow-up plans.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Physician Assistant licensure in New Jersey .
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
