Position Overview

The Sales Trainer, Field Sales plays a critical role in developing and elevating the performance of Levolor's Territory Account Manager (TAM) organization. This position is responsible for onboarding, sales skill development, product certification, field coaching, and sales enablement initiatives that help drive account growth, sales effectiveness, and customer engagement across retail, dealer, and designer channels.

This individual will partner closely with sales leadership, product management, and marketing to build high-impact training programs, strengthen selling capabilities, and ensure TAMs are equipped to successfully represent the Levolor brand in the market. Their work directly influences sales performance, productivity, and the achievement of business objectives.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver onboarding programs that accelerate new Territory Account Manager ramp-up and readiness.
• Develop and facilitate engaging sales training programs focused on consultative selling, account management, and territory growth.
• Serve as the product knowledge expert, delivering certification programs across Levolor's window treatment and motorization portfolio.
• Conduct field ride-alongs and in-store coaching sessions to improve sales execution, customer engagement, and selling effectiveness.
• Create and maintain sales training materials, playbooks, assessments, certifications, and learning resources.
• Equip TAMs to effectively support retail, dealer, and designer partners through training, merchandising, and promotional execution.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Product Management, and Marketing to align training with product launches and business priorities.
• Measure training effectiveness through reporting and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• All other duties as assigned

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales, territory sales, account management, or a related customer-facing sales role.
• Experience leading, coaching, training, or developing sales professionals.
• Proven ability to design and deliver sales training, onboarding programs, workshops, or certification initiatives.
• Strong consultative selling knowledge with the ability to teach effective sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to learn, master, and communicate complex product portfolios.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and instructional skills across in-person and virtual environments.
• Experience using CRM platforms, sales enablement tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and provide impactful coaching feedback.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% for field coaching, training delivery, and customer-facing activities.
• Location: Candidates based in the Atlanta, GA area are preferred; however, remote candidates will be considered if they are willing and able to travel up to 50%.
