Learning and Development Facilitator

Job SummaryThe Learning and Development Facilitator is a key member of NAPA’s centralized Learning & Development team, responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences that build team member capability and support business performance.Working closely with L&D Managers, Instructional Designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and business partners, this role delivers instructor-led, virtual, onsite, and travel-based training for small and large groups on functional role skills, competencies and leadership development. The Facilitator adapts delivery to audience needs, creates an inclusive learning environment, assesses understanding, and uses learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve the learning experience. This role complements the L&D Manager’s ownership of business partnership, strategy, and program leadership and the Instructional Designers function of content design and development.ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery & FacilitationDeliver engaging instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, onsite, and travel-based training programs for small and large groups.Apply adult learning principles, facilitation techniques, and classroom-management practices to create inclusive, interactive, and learner-centered experiences.Adapt facilitation style, pacing, examples, and activities to meet the needs of varied audiences, skill levels, and learning environments.Use approved training materials, learning technologies, and facilitation tools to reinforce learning objectives and support on-the-job application.Assess learner understanding throughout training and provide timely, constructive feedback and coaching.Partnership & Program SupportPartner with L&D Managers, Instructional Designers, SMEs, and business stakeholders to prepare for and deliver learning solutions aligned to business needs and performance expectations.Support training communications, participant engagement, scheduling, materials preparation, and onsite or virtual logistics as assigned.Build productive relationships with learners, facilitators, leaders, and business partners while representing NAPA professionally.Training Operations & QualityPrepare for training sessions by reviewing materials, testing technology, confirming logistics, and ensuring readiness of learning environments and participant resources.Maintain consistent delivery quality by following established facilitation standards, program requirements, and approved learning materials.Accurately document attendance, completion, participation, and other required training records in the LMS or other designated systems.Identify delivery risks, learner barriers, technology issues, and content gaps; communicate observations and recommended solutions to the L&D team.Learning Measurement & Continuous ImprovementGather learner feedback and review survey results, assessment outcomes, participation data, and business feedback to improve learner experience and training effectiveness.Share insights from delivery sessions with L&D Managers and Instructional Designers to support content updates and program improvements.Stay current on adult learning, facilitation practices, virtual delivery methods, and approved learning technologiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education, Learning & Development, Communications, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.Three or more years of training delivery, facilitation, adult education, sales training, operations training, or related experience.Demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging in-person and virtual learning for small and large groups.Knowledge of adult learning principles, learner engagement, assessment techniques, and classroom management.Strong presentation, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.Experience using virtual learning platforms, presentation tools, and an LMS; Workday Learning preferred.Ability to travel as needed to deliver training at NAPA locations.Not the right fit?
