Associate Director, Commercial Learning - Psychiatry

The Alkermes Commercial Learning and Leadership Development (CL&LD) team is looking for someone who will lead the development of field training programs supporting Alkermes’ growing portfolio of mental health treatments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Psychiatry portfolio of Alkermes promoted products and Commercial field teams. This new position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment creating impactful, world class training programs that support sales force effectiveness.Alkermes has a hybrid working environment to support and meet the needs of employees and this role will operate in a flexible environment with 60% of time in the office and 40% from home.Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experiencePreferred Skills and Knowledge Qualifications:Prior training experience (field or headquarters) Experience selling injectables and/or physician administered treatments in challenging reimbursement environments Experience selling in the Psychiatry or Addiction markets Experience leading direct reportsBuilding & executing training programsExperience in utilizing technology to engage field groupsDemonstrated track record of success in salesProven ability to create, develop & lead projectsHigh level of initiative and ownershipDemonstrated ability to work independentlyExceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skillsIn-depth understanding of sales & the sales processTeam player able to develop rapport and credibility with key stakeholdersNatural ability to flex & adapt in real time based on multiple channels of feedbackProficiency in Microsoft PowerPointTravel Requirements:Up to 60% travelThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $162k to $185k.
