Overview For this U.S.-based position, the expected compensation range is $145,000 - $210,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentives. Schneider Electric has a Digital Grid (Software) Account Executive role in the Utilities sector, focusing on pipeline generation, qualification, and advancing deals for the Digital Grid software portfolio, with responsibilities spanning existing customers and new logos. Collaboration with Solution Architecture, Tendering, Marketing, Product, and Partner/Delivery teams to drive prescriptions and competitive tenders to increase order intake and ARR. Responsibilities Pipeline Generation & Qualification: Conduct prospecting campaigns targeting existing customers and new logos to create new software and ARR opportunities. Qualify customer needs and technical requirements. Engage with customers to drive opportunity prescription to ensure Schneider Electric has the best opportunity to win RFPs/Proposals in line with DOA margin approvals. Maintain and grow a robust pipeline. Create a pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet/exceed your order intake target. Meet order intake target and Software/ARR mix target, including attending regular pipeline calls. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with functions within and outside of the Digital Grid NAM sales team; work with the solution architect team to drive prescription of Digital Grid technologies and influence technical buying solutions; work with the tendering team to deliver compelling commercial offers and manage contract negotiations; work with the marketing team to drive opportunity generation and participate at industry events; provide voice of the customer feedback to the product team; collaborate with the partner success and/or project delivery teams to define the pursuit strategy. Competency & Experience: 5-10 years of enterprise sales and new business development experience; market & product knowledge; strong verbal and written communication; collaboration & organizational skills; growth mindset & adaptability; process oriented with the ability to drive opportunities from identification to closure. Expected Territories that will be covered: West of the Mississippi River / SW-US / Rocky Mountain range Travel: Up to 50% Qualifications 5-10 years of enterprise sales and new business development experience. Understanding of utility operations and grid software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate across multiple teams. Willingness to learn evolving grid technologies.
