Job Requirements:

• Experience: 3 years
• CA RN License
• Certs: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) Req. NIHSS preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted: No

Job Details:

• Shift: 3x8 between 0700-1800. Will start as Monday-Wednesday. As caseload builds, could increase to 4x8 or 5x8 with additional weekday work.
• Weekend REQ: No
• Floating REQ: Yes
• On-Call REQ: No
• Pending license: NO, must be active at time of submission
• NO SCHEDULING REQUESTS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED.

• Patient Diagnoses: Vascular Surgery
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Diagnostic Angiograms, Lower extremity angioplasty, Stent placement, Fistulagrams

Compliance Submission Rules:

• Locals: Locals are accepted unless otherwise stated in the job title. A reduced local rate applies for MAs & LVNs ONLY.
• Licensure: LVNs must have a valid CA IV certification at the time of submission. MAs must have a certification from an accredited school listed on the DAPIP website.
• Floating: Traveler must be flexible. Specific float locations will be listed in job posting if required.
• References: 2 references from within the past 1 year of employment are required at the time of submission. Must be supervisor or higher - No Charge RN. Hard Stop.
• Return Staff Policy: Previous perm employees must be separated for 24 months before they are eligible for travel positions at all Cedars-Sinai facilities (including Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Cedars Marina Del Rey), with the exception of CSMN, which requires a 12 month separation. All past Cedars employment (travel, staff, etc.) MUST be included on profile.
• Background Policy: Any license or background hit requires a detailed written statement from the traveler. License/background hits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any license or background hits that are open and/or pending are an automatic redirect. All hits must be completely closed.
• RTO Rules: Max RTO: 7 days. No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment. Must be included at the time of submission.
• Compliance: Modules are billable, max billable hours: Non-Clinical traveler: 8 hours, Clinical/Allied traveler: 10 hours, Lead/Supervisor traveler: 10 hours. Modules are completed pre-start, and vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via transcripts.
