Equipment Operator

About the Role As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld’s industrial disposal process. Position Responsibilities Receive and process inbound materials, including operating industrial equipment such as forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll‑off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools. Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers as necessary. Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor. Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good housekeeping practices at all Reworld facilities and within assigned work areas. Perform exterior site maintenance and improvement as needed, which includes litter collection, painting, snow removal, and ice prevention. Provide traffic control for incoming/outgoing traffic. Assist facility mechanic(s) with equipment repairs. Complete additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations. Position Requirements & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). A minimum of one year of experience operating industrial equipment. Ability to work a rotating shift schedule. Must hold an MA 2A Hoisting License. Physical Demands Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb. Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces. Paid time off and paid holidays. Pay Transparency The pay range for the primary location of this position is $50,669.00 – $69,683.00. The final salary offered will be based on experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements, and/or union contracts (if applicable).
