Vitality Physio-Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our home care team in Miami, Florida. Work Environment

This position is onsite and primarily focused on providing care in clients' homes, a setting that offers the unique opportunity to observe and evaluate the impact of the home environment on therapeutic progress. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function, all tailored to maintain maximum performance within the client's abilities.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to care plans and therapeutic strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each client's physical capabilities using diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Assess clients' home environments, providing recommendations that can enhance their independence and overall quality of life.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic exercises, including manual interventions, and coach clients in self-directed activities designed to maximize recovery.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, offering necessary modifications in consultation with physicians.
• Participate actively in the interdisciplinary team by attending case conferences to provide insights and collaborate on the clients' total treatment strategies.
• Maintain detailed clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring they are completed in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Offer education and guidance to clients and families regarding rehabilitation techniques and the use of physical therapy devices.
• Carry out on-site functional assessments and revisions of care plans according to the client's evolving needs and requirements.
• Complete all documentation, clinical orders, and payroll submissions promptly in accordance with branch policies.
• Stay available and accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants during treatment sessions, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Take on additional duties as assigned to support the objectives of the organization and its clients.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

Vitality Physio-Rehab Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
