Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager | Hybrid We’re partnering with a well-established, public manufacturing company looking to hire an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role oversees day-to-day accounting activities and plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvement across domestic and international operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys managing people, owning complex accounting areas, and partnering cross-functionally to support the business. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for complex accounting areas Manage the monthly close process and support consolidated financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, review, and mentorship Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX requirements Serve as a key contact for external auditors and support quarterly and annual audit activities Support tax-related reporting by coordinating with internal and external partners Partner cross-functionally on accounting-related initiatives and special projects Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, and enhance reporting efficiency Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting and industry preferred Prior experience managing or mentoring accounting staff Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls Experience supporting multi-entity or complex organizations Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Collaborative, proactive leadership style Why Apply?
