Clinical Nurse - Cardiac Diagnostic Lab (PRN)

Role Overview Provides direct outpatient cardiac diagnostic care, collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans that optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills. Support providers by documenting patient assessments and treatment protocols in compliance with standards. Educate patients and families through verbal and written instructions, ensuring understanding and engagement. Collaborate with primary care and specialists to review and update care plans, promoting wellness and high-quality care. Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and compliance guidelines to ensure safe patient care. Provide guidance to clinical staff and assist in daily patient management in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Qualifications & Skills RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's or higher degree (BSN/MSN preferred). 2-5 years of RN experience in a cardiac or outpatient setting; experience with stress testing, IV therapy, and EKGs is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
