Spanish Interpreter - In Person

Location Area: New Castle County, DE (Wilmington) – IN-PERSON Overview Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is looking for Spanish interpreters in the Wilmington, DE area. As a member of our network of independently contracted interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for the local community in a variety of settings, including education, medical, social services, and more. Responsibilities Travel to local client sites within New Castle County. Provide Spanish-English interpreting during school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and other events. Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining strict confidentiality. Follow all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry best practices. Qualifications / Experience Full fluency in both English and Spanish. Daytime availability (9 AM – 5 PM). Availability to support interpreting clients 5‑15 hours per week. Reliable transportation. 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred (not required). Industry-specific certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI, etc.) preferred (not required). Willingness to undergo background check (Federal, State, Child Abuse Registry). Reliable phone service for contact. Comfortable with using a computer or smartphone for job input.
