Full responsibilities, required qualifications, and the apply link are listed in the description below.## Resume Keywords to IncludeMake sure these keywords appear in your resume to improve ATS scoringCPRORRequirementsArmedSecurityOfficersPatrollingAccessSign up free to auto-tailor your resume with all these keywords and get a higher ATS score## Job descriptionJob Skills / Requirements* Armed Security Officers perform a variety of security-related duties depending on the post.* Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on-premises.* Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.* Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.* Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.* Must be able to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.* Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.* Knowledgeable and able to effectively use magnetometer and X-ray machines.* Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios clearly and concisely.* Performing CPR or first aid when needed.* Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.* Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.Required Qualifications* High school diploma, a General Education Degree (GED) recognized by the U.S.* Associates Degree* Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an armed security officer* Must have a current and valid DC Armed Security Guard Card/permit* Must have an active DC Armed SPO, O.C. aerosol spray, Baton* knowledgeable of the security industry* Must have a customer service driven mindset* Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients.Education Requirements (All)At Least 2 Years of CollegeHigh School Diploma/GEDAssociates DegreeCertification Requirements (All)DC Armed SPOCPR/First AidBatonO.C. aerosol sprayHandcuffing Tactics and InstructionThis job reports to the Project ManagerThis is a Full-Time positionBack Apply Now
