Accounting Manager

Location: Bartlett, IL Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 base + bonus Our client is a stable, family-owned manufacturing organization looking for an Accounting Manager to take ownership of accounting operations across multiple business entities. This is a unique opportunity to step into a key leadership role with a planned transition and extensive knowledge transfer from a long-tenured accounting leader. Planned succession opportunity with direct training from a retiring accounting leader Work closely with ownership and senior leadership Broad exposure to manufacturing, inventory, and real estate accounting Join a stable organization with strong employee retention Opportunity to improve processes and make a visible impact Long-term potential for additional leadership growth Your Day-to-Day as an Accounting Manager Oversee full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, GL, inventory, and financial reporting Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Manage manufacturing and inventory accounting , including BOMs and inventory controls Oversee accounting for real estate activities, including tenant billing and tax reconciliations Supervise and mentor a small accounting team while improving processes and controls What We’re Looking For 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience , ideally in manufacturing or an inventory-driven environment Experience with inventory accounting, BOMs, and multi-entity reporting Strong ERP experience including QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills If you’re an experienced Accounting Manager looking for a hands-on leadership opportunity with a stable organization, broad accounting exposure, and room to grow.
