Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000
Location: West Chicago, IL

Join as an Accounting Manager and lead the heartbeat of our financial operations! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily accounting functions, drive accurate financial reporting, and uphold robust internal controls that ensure compliance and integrity. Collaborate closely with our VP of Finance and internal teams to shape strategic financial decisions while managing external communications with vendors, creditors, and partners. Your expertise will directly impact our company's financial health and growth—be a key player in our success story!

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
• Proven ability to manage general ledger, month-end close, and internal controls
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Office 365, especially Microsoft Excel; experience with Netsuite ERP is a plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ERP systems beyond Netsuite
• Background in external audits and tax compliance
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in accounting teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related fields; CPA or CMA certification is advantageous
• 5 to 8+ years of dedicated accounting experience
• Familiarity with accounting system implementation and process improvement initiatives

• Ability to handle external communications professionally
• Open to occasional travel for audits or corporate meetings
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
