Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an active Wisconsin RN Licensure and the necessary certifications to provide exceptional care in our emergency departments.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards, policies, and state laws.
• Document patient care appropriately and consistently according to standards.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by the Physician.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and support to other departments as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and experience are prioritized, escalating issues when necessary.
• Engage in professional nursing activities, including peer review processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Wisconsin RN Licensure
• Education verification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Either Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Nursing Standards (TNS) certification
