Quality Assurance Coordinator for Residential Services$58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per yearWe are seeking a detail-focused and experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to create, maintain, and monitor systems that support compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements across our group homes and apartments within Residential Services.About STAR, Inc.:STAR, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Norwalk, CT, that has provided support services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families for more than 70 years. We strive to help each individual reach their fullest potential through inclusion, independence, and freedom of choice.A Day in the Life of the Quality Assurance Coordinator:The Quality Assurance Coordinator (QA) serves as a key point of contact between STAR, Inc. and regulatory agencies, helping ensure compliance and appropriate oversight for the individuals we support. In this role, the QA Coordinator will prepare for audits, develop and maintain policies and procedures, address safety concerns as they arise, submit required information to various agencies, and monitor staff adherence to established quality standards.The QA Coordinator works closely with the Residential Director and group home managers to ensure STAR's residential properties meet the requirements established by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other applicable regulatory agencies.Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a working knowledge of DDS requirements, and supervisory experience in a similar environment.
