Quality Assurance ManagerBring your aerospace quality leadership to Bridgeport, CT and help drive precision, compliance, and continuous improvement in a mission-critical manufacturing environment. In this Quality Assurance Manager opportunity, you'll lead a hands-on quality team, oversee AS9100/IA9100 compliance, and support FAA PMA and government contract requirements for rotorcraft spare parts.Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Assurance Manager position include:5+ years of aerospace quality leadership experience, including stable job tenure and managing more than 10 employeesLead and develop an 11-person Quality Department, training and mentoring staff to maintain complianceMaintain and continually improve the AS9100/IA9100-certified Quality Management System and ensure FAA PMA requirements are metPerform and support internal and external audits, corrective action responses, and follow-up activities as a primary Quality representativeUse hands-on inspection expertise covering dimensions, coatings, blueprints, tolerances, first-article reporting, rejections/rework, and in-process inspectionLead root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and oversee nonconforming material, MRB activity, supplier quality concerns, and customer complaintsPartner across Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Purchasing, and senior management to resolve quality issues and improve performanceMaintain accurate quality records and establish meaningful performance metrics using Microsoft Office and electronic quality/ERP systemsSalary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, supplemental coverage, $20K life insurance, separate sick time, 2+ weeks PTO, and 401(k) match up to 6%.
