The registered nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care based on clinical judgment and evidence-based practices. Job Details Position Title: Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice or valid compact license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience in an acute care hospital setting for a minimum of one year within the past 12 months. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred; professional certification in relevant specialty preferred. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural aspects. Formulate individualized patient care plans including discharge planning, collaborating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Implement care through direct patient interactions, delegation, supervision, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Evaluate patient responses to treatment and teaching, adjusting care plans as necessary. Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and evaluations in the patient record. Provide evidence-based care and participate in research activities within clinical practice. Engage in professional development, mentorship, and quality improvement initiatives. Interact with all levels of healthcare staff, patients, families, and external contacts to ensure seamless patient care.
