Role Description The Home Care Provider is a full-time, on-site role based in Mount Prospect, IL. This role involves assisting older adults with daily living activities such as personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. The Home Care Provider will offer companionship, support safe mobility, and help clients maintain routines that promote independence and comfort at home. Responsibilities also include monitoring changes in client needs, communicating observations to supervisors, and following individualized care plans. The role requires dependable attendance, adherence to safety protocols, and respectful collaboration with clients, families, and the care team. Qualifications Strong caregiving abilities, including reliable support with daily activities and a commitment to person-centered care. Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust, communicate clearly, and develop positive relationships with clients and families. Experience or interest in home care settings, with the ability to follow care plans and maintain a safe, comfortable environment. Competence in personal care and elder care, including assistance with hygiene, mobility, and basic health-related routines. High school diploma or equivalent; prior professional or family caregiving experience is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Mount Prospect, IL, with reliable transportation and flexibility for varied shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
