Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting financial schedules.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and help ensure timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and maintain organized financial documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and support overall business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. xhyhwjd
