About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred. License: ARRT MR Certification required. Certifications: BCLS required. Must-Have: - Experience with ER/Trauma and various MRI procedures. - Skills in PACS, contrast media preparation, and radiation safety. - Ability to start peripheral IVs. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancellation. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Local candidates are welcome, with a rate difference applicable. Community hospital setting with a mix of outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department cases. Daily census is approximately 12 patients. Staffing ratios are 1:2 during regular hours and 1:1 on weekends. The area provides support from various interdisciplinary teams including IV, physical therapy, and pharmacy. All candidates must be prepared for potential floating between units as necessary. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract period. Pre-approved time off is limited to 7 days. RTO during the first week is not permitted. Certain patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic, is required. Travel pairs are allowed, provided they are on different units. Candidates should be open to completing online pre-start modules. Testing must be completed promptly after signing. References may be pending at the time of submission.
