Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $900 - $970
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 5, 2026 - August 1, 2026)
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Shift: Day/evening shifts (8-hour shifts); scheduled as needed; every weekend and holidays required
• Employment Type: Travel CNA / Travel Healthcare

• Location: Waterloo, NY 13165 - Finger Lakes region (local amenities and community activities)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active New York State Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), skilled nursing, or similar setting
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; resident-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment; promptly respond to call lights and alarms
• Support residents' nutritional needs through meal delivery, tray preparation, and feeding assistance
• Assist with rehabilitative needs such as range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and proper body alignment
• Document care and observations per facility protocol and report changes to supervising nurse
• Report residents' rights, refusals, concerns, and changes in physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to supervising nurse
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures in accordance with facility policies
