Assistant Store Manager

Assistant Store Manager – Chicago Premium Outlets, Aurora, IL We are seeking an experienced retail manager to serve as Assistant Store Manager at our Chicago Premium Outlets location in Aurora, IL. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in all operational aspects, drive sales, and manage and train store staff. Responsibilities Achieve or exceed personal sales goals established by the Store Manager. Open and close the store; maintain daily operations. Achieve financial objectives for the store, including revenue and profit. Coach and train store personnel to reach their sales targets. Recruit, hire, train, and coach employees to ensure peak performance. Capture CRM data, manage inventory, revenue, merchandising, and loss prevention programs per company policy. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure all employees do the same. Maintain the stability, security, and reputation of the store by complying with corporate, legal, and security requirements. Keep the store environment neat, clean, and professional. Monitor merchandise display, accurate ticketing, and product cleanliness. Service watches, including sizing and battery changes as needed. Act as Store Manager in the absence of the Store Manager. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of retail management experience. Strong sales skills and experience in watch, jewelry, fashion, accessories, cosmetics, specialty, or luxury retail preferred. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer‑service skills. Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to balance multiple tasks. Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office (Word & Excel). Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings. Benefits Hourly rate starting at $19.50 plus commission on all sales.
