RPA Software Engineer

We are looking for an RPA Software Engineer to join a long-term contract opportunity in Auburn Hills, Michigan within the automotive industry. This role focuses on building and supporting intelligent automation solutions that streamline business operations, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency across multiple functions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with workflow automation, software development, and system integration, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.Responsibilities:• Evaluate operational workflows to uncover automation opportunities and recommend practical process improvements.• Build, test, implement, and enhance automated solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, WinActor, and related platforms.• Partner with internal teams and business users to define requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and support successful delivery.• Investigate automation issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize workflows to maintain strong system performance and stability.• Maintain existing bots and automation assets while identifying ways to expand functionality and improve usability.• Create clear technical documentation, process guides, and user-facing instructions for deployed automation solutions.• Deliver user support and training to encourage adoption and effective use of automation tools.• Connect automation workflows with enterprise applications, databases, Microsoft 365 tools, APIs, file-based processes, and external platforms.• Develop scripts, utilities, and custom integrations to extend automation capabilities across Windows and Linux environments.
