Labor amp Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. This position offers the chance to engage in complex employment litigation within a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities Represent employers in single-plaintiff and complex employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour actions. Independently manage all phases of litigation from pre-litigation evaluation through trial or resolution. Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and class certification briefing. Manage written discovery and take/defend depositions. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials. Provide day-to-day counseling on employment law issues, including leaves of absence and terminations. Collaborate with partners to strengthen client relationships and develop new business. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Minimum of 6 years of experience in labor and employment litigation. Portable book of business preferred, but not required. Strong oral and written advocacy skills. Ability to manage cases and client needs independently. Admission to practice in California.
