The candidate selected for hire will be required to sign a form acknowledging this policy.ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize classrooms and restrooms;Disinfect and wipe down various surfaces;Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors;Empty trash and recycling receptacles;Operate snow removal equipment, including snow blowers, shovels, and plows;Perform light painting and touch-ups;Complete minor maintenance tasks such as toilet repairs, unclogging sinks and toilets, and fixing door hardware or keys;Assist with event setup and breakdown; andPerform other duties as assigned.Physical Demands & Working ConditionsWalking or standing to a significant degree;Pushing and/or pulling;Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects;Working with and around hazardous building materials containing solvents and cleaning chemicals;Increased exposure to germs; andExposure to hot and cold temperatures when working outside.Required QualificationsCandidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe;Candidate must be able to work through winter and summer breaks;Candidate must be dependable, reliable, thorough, self-motivated, and detail oriented; andCandidate must be able to work as a member of a team and individually and follow instructions.ScheduleDuring Semester: Up to 25 hours a weekDuring breaks: Up to 40 hours a weekShifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00 am to 2:30pm.This is subject to change based on organizational needs.Compensation GradeStudent Employee Level 1$14.00/ hr.ExemptNoFull-Time Equivalent0.0%Required Attachment(s)Please note, once you submit your application the only attachment/s viewable to you will be the attachment/s to the resume/CV section of the application.
