Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title Physical Therapist Location New Jersey Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 40 hours per week | 1–2 evenings until 7:00 PM | Onsite | Outpatient Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments with an orthopedic patient population, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements while maintaining professional licensure in good standing Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific State Practice Act and professional code of conduct Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control practices Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and ongoing professional development Why Join Us Join a structured outpatient orthopedic environment with a flexible schedule and a defined 13-week contract engagement starting in August Work within a team-oriented clinical setting that emphasizes professional growth, patient safety, and high-quality care delivery Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 768129.
