Project Area: Approximately 95% of work is within the Denver Metro Area, with projects extending throughout the Front Range to Fort Collins. This role provides safety leadership across both ground-up construction and occupied facility projects while partnering closely with project managers, superintendents, foremen, estimators, owners, and general contractors. Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Certification 5+ years of construction safety experience supporting mechanical construction projects Experience overseeing plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical system installations Experience leading incident investigations and corrective action implementation Experience with: Fall Protection Scaffolding & Ladder Safety Hot Work, Cutting, Grinding & Welding Confined Space Entry Crane & Rigging Operations Trenching & Excavation Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Management experience with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field Experience supporting commercial or industrial mechanical contractors CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential What You'll Be Doing Develop, implement, and manage company EHS programs Conduct routine project inspections, audits, and risk assessments Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), permits, and lift plans Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation Conduct new hire orientations and ongoing safety training Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Estimators to integrate safety into project planning and execution Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety requirements Maintain safety metrics, reporting, and compliance documentation Coordinate with owners, customers, and general contractors regarding project safety expectations Promote a proactive safety culture across all active projects Technical Knowledge Candidates should have working knowledge of: OSHA Construction Standards Mechanical Construction Safety Fall Protection & Elevated Work Activities Scaffolding & Ladder Safety Hot Work, Cutting, Grinding & Welding Safety Confined Space Entry Programs Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Crane & Rigging Operations Trenching & Excavation Safety Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis Contractor Safety Management What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a proactive, field-focused safety leader who builds strong relationships with project teams, integrates safety into every phase of project planning, mentors field personnel, and helps create a culture where safety and production work together to deliver successful commercial and industrial construction projects.
