Tech Support Analyst 2

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Tech Support Analyst 2 to support our client in the Greater Warrenton Region in the medical facility sector supporting the Department of Veterans Services. This position has the exciting opportunity to support the integration, management, and technical support of IT systems for a new veterans care center, as well as remote benefits sites.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Proficient knowledge of installing, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Operating System, Microsoft O365, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and all IT assets
• Experience with McAfee Anti-Virus Software, Adobe Acrobat, and other commercial business software products
• Knowledge of setup, configuration, and maintenance of PC desktops, laptops, peripheral devices, and networking
• Working knowledge of supporting and troubleshooting Ethernet-based LAN/WAN environments (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and dependable transportation for occasional travel
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and perform repetitive motions (standing, sitting, reaching, lifting, walking, bending, climbing)
• Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills

Desired:

• Experience with IT inventory control, ticketing systems, and reporting
• Knowledge of analog and digital phone configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Android and Apple mobile devices

Responsibilities:

• Assist IT management with integration, management, and support of IT programs for the Puller Veterans Care Center and remote sites
• Provide independent IT administration and technical support for agency-specific software and hardware systems
• Set up, configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless access points, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Identify security vulnerabilities and report security incidents promptly
• Track end-user support activities through the ticketing system and monitor network/computer systems performance
• Document changes to systems, update training and system documentation, and create new procedures
• Coach and manage daily duties of contracted on-site engineer
• Perform other duties as assigned

The hourly pay range for this position is $25 – $30, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
