Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume ER setting. This travel position requires adaptability and strong clinical skills to meet the needs of diverse patient cases.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care for acutely ill or injured patients.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective treatment interventions.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in Meditech EMR.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and perform advanced procedures such as RSI, stroke protocols, and central line placements.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Comply with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards, including certifications like BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with at least 2-3 years of ER experience and prior travel assignments completed.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in high-acuity, fast-paced ER environments with patient ratios of 4-6:1.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC, NRP, and NIH are preferred.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong team-oriented, respectful, and adaptable personality traits suitable for dynamic ER settings.
  
  
• 
  Maintain familiarity with Meditech EMR and emergency procedures specific to high-volume emergency departments.
